Engineering. In his academic activity, he has
coordinated research groups of undergraduate and Ph.D. students during their
degree thesis work or Ph.D. thesis work . He has supervised a number of B.Sc.
and M.Sc. theses, with responsibility for establishing the research work to
be carried out, guiding students in planning and carrying out experiments,
interpreting the results, making hypotheses or assumptions on the studied
phenomena and performing calculations and numerical analyses to check their
accuracy. RESEARCH ACTIVITIES His main achievements in the research
activities are linked to multi-sectorial topics. In particular, the research
activities are related to the following main
topics: 1. Investigations into the thermodynamic
properties of gases; 2. Heat Release studies in Internal
Combustion Engines; 3. Wind turbine design; 4. Sub sonic wind tunnel design. Michele
Messina is the author of many scientific
